Mr. Williams

WOW, time is flying by; this is my 28th year in education!  I have been teaching in WCPSS since 2004.  I started my education career as a full-time school bus driver and substitute teacher in 1996 and continue to hold a current Commercial Drivers License (CDL).  I am a proud UNC Wilmington alumni...go Seahawks!

I am very excited to start another year at NWCCA.  This is the 2nd school that I have been lucky enough to open and be part of the original staff within WCPSS; not many teachers can say they have opened two different schools in their career.  I also have several after school jobs (#teacherlife):

Teaching is a true passion for me and I enjoy helping students of all ages learn what they need in order to become responsible and productive citizens for the United States and North Carolina.

Things I enjoy:

Things I hate:

I was born in South Boston, VA (only me and my maternal grandmother were born outside of NC in the last 5 generations).  Growing up, I lived in VA, SC, GA, and NC.  My dad is a retired Army Chaplain (MAJ/CPT) and retired civilian minister, so we moved around a lot - but not as much as other military families.  But my home is Cape Carteret, NC.  In case you think that you have never heard of Cape C, it is the little town where highways 24 & 58 intersect.  It is the little town right before you cross over the bridge to Emerald Isle.  While a student in Carteret County Public Schools, I attended White Oak Elementary, Broad Creek Middle (a member of the first student body to complete the first 3 years; 6th - 8th grade), and West Carteret High.
