Weekly Overview:
This week we continued our work in unit 4. The students are doing an excellent job with this project. The students are truly showing how much they are learning from this. This past week we learned about the supply channel. Next week students will learn about the nature of overhead/operating costs. We also reviewed again the student's semester project and reinforced the importance that they are working on this now.

Weekly Overview:
This week we continued our work in unit 4. The students are doing an excellent job with this project. The students are truly showing how much they are learning from this. Weekly Overview:
This week we had our Unit three test, and students began to work on Channels of distribution. I am a firm believer that the best way to learn the material is to teach it. Students. With that in mind, the students are teaching unit 4. I will of course be working with the groups and guiding them along the way, but I am very excited to see how they do! Students will be presenting content, creating assignments/projects, and responsible for determining how they will assess if the students gained the content. I will of course be the only person seeing grades. They seem to be very excited about this project, and I cannot wait to update you with pictures and details along the way

Weekly Overview:
This week looked at Unique selling position, mass marketing, target marketing, and how to segment a market. Next week we will review these concepts and test on Wednesday. Thursday we will begin unit 4 looking at distribution.

Class / School Updates:
WCPSS is currently experiencing a delay in receiving cups for students to use at the water fountain. This is a requirement due to COVID. Please send your child with a cup or bottle they can refill throughout the day as needed.
Students that would like to retest, need to complete the retest from available in Canvas in the announcements. I will be offering a retest on Tuesday after school at 2:30. It is a school requirement that this form be completed to retest. The highest a student can earn on a retest is an 85.
Weekly Overview:
Students completed their first test on Monday, and we began looking at the marketing side of entrepreneurship. Students worked on their Cereal Project. This project is due before the start of class on Monday. Monday, students will have a quiz on this section. This week we will begin looking at the Selling Aspect of Marketing

We will be having our first Test Monday 09/27/21! Students will need a cereal box for a project next week. They have been given their groups and only need one box per group.

We have our first Test on Until 2 Monday 09/27/21. Students have a review available in Canvas. Next week we will begin our Marketing unit. We will begin with the Concept of marketing Strategies.

Progress reports are scheduled for Monday. All grades will be updates by Sunday evening to reflect the student's current grade. Any work turned in after 4:00pm Sunday will not be reflected on the progress report. This year progress reports will not be printed but available for viewing in Power School. Weekly Overview:
This week we focused on Environmental Scans (Internal and External) and the benefits for business. Next week will begin looking at feasibility and understanding the Lean Canvas Business Model.

I truly enjoyed meeting with several of you last night and showing you a bit more about our class! I have attached the follow up survey for the school if you could please complete that I personally would greatly appreciate it! As I mentioned last night, I am a Doctoral Candidate, and this survey is actually part of an assignment for my class 🙂. Next Wednesday is underclassman picture day!

We have begun work on unit 2 and this week focused on Entrepreneural discovery. This section also included a look at the design thinking process, and the students had the opportunity to participate in a fun partner activity where the designed a wallet for one another. Next week we will begin Acquiring information to guide business decision making

The students have been a true joy to work with, and I have loved seeing them grasp concepts and formulate new thoughts. Please help me remind your student that I do not deduct points for work that is turned in late, so I would strongly encourage getting in any missing assignments. Students that turn in work on time, have the option to revise their work for a higher grade once they receive feedback. Please know I am always available should you have any questions or concerns!

Weekly Overview:
We are wrapping up unit one in our class tomorrow. Students will complete a very short quiz to close us out. Next week will begin unit 2 and our focus on design thinking, lean canvas business model and feasibility of ideas. Students will also be introduced to the first part of their final project in this unit.

Each day student's complete lab simulations and they can repeat the labs until they get the score they would like. if you notice your students are missing assignments, please encourage them to get caught up, as the concepts build on each other as we progress. Specifically this week the students completed 3 word live projects and watermark project.

This week students will complete the project type assignments for grades. Students will then take a practice certification test, that will serve as their test grade for the class. Students should be prepared to certify sometime the end of next week, the first of the following week. We are waiting on confirmation on exactly what day our certification will be.
