My name is Nicole Simpson, and I am honored to serve as the School Counselor for Barton Pond Elementary. I work hard to empower and advocate for students while building meaningful relationships with staff, families and the community. I bring creativity and intentionality to everything I do, and my role as a school counselor is no different!

When I am not working with students, I am spending time with my family. My husband and I live in Raleigh with our two dogs and three children. I love reading a good book, getting some fresh air, and spending time taking care of plants or being crafty.

My name is Melissa Snow and I was thrilled to join the Bullfrog family in 2024.  I am passionate about using my role as a school counselor to create a school environment in which all students feel seen, heard, and cared for.  Although I'm now in my 3rd decade of being a school counselor, I still learn something new each day.  

Outside of school, my support network includes my husband and our two children. Besides hanging out with my family and loving on our two kitties, I refill my bucket by spending time in nature, watching funny cat videos, and cheering for the Tar Heels.
