Welcome to Baileywick Elementary School Student Services
We are here to support students and their families through all those normal bumps in the road, as well as the unexpected road blocks and detours that life inevitably puts in our way. The BES goal is to help create a safe and caring environment in which kids feel free to learn and grow.

The School Counselor works with all students at BES. Counselors teach classes, runs small groups, and conducts short- term individual counseling. They also consults with teachers and parents about individual students. Our counselor holds a Master’s in Professional Counseling and is a licensed professional counselor, a National Certified Counselor and a National Certified School Counselor.
A School Social Worker provides a link between the home, school and community by providing support services that positively impact the development of the whole child. Through collaboration with students, school personnel, parents and community representatives, they assist students and families so that students can learn and function well in our schools. Students are referred to School Social Workers through teachers, parents, students, administration and other school personnel as well as community agencies. School Social Workers actively address barriers within the child, home, school, and community that interfere with student achievement.
A School Psychologist is specially trained and licensed to work with students, families, and educators to support the educational and mental health needs in schools. They assist teachers, parents, and students in understanding, preventing, and addressing learning, behavioral, developmental, and social-emotional difficulties. School psychologists have specialized training in crisis response, individual and group counseling, instructional consultation, assessment of educational needs, and the application of data-based decision making.
