About the media center
The media center at Briarcliff is a student centered and inquiry driven program. We promote a lifelong love of reading, as well as support the learning of 21st century skills. About the librarians
Mrs Parrish graduated from NC State with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English. She is now pursuing her Masters in Library Science at ECU! Being in the library feels like a dream come true because she loves to read and be surrounded by books. She also loves elephants, chicken nuggets, and Starbucks! She is a mom to two little boys and has a dog named Kingsley. Her philosophy is: BE KIND AND STAY CURIOUS! :)
Mrs. Betsacon graduated from NC State and majored in Animal Science. She was born and raised in western North Carolina on a small horse farm. She loves animals and has 2 dogs and 3 cats. She has a husband and a son who is starting 7th grade- he went to Briarcliff! She has been working at Briarcliff since 2019-2020.
