A Graduate of Pace University in New YorK where he played both Football and Lacrosse and beganworking in the Fiber optic revolution in the dot.com era, engineering networks and installations
Brad is a 20+ year executive career in the Telecommunications and Information Technology industry working with Level(3) Communications, BTi/Deltacom and ACN Networks where he was Director of US Operations.
Founder of FvLax Goblins Youth REC Program in North Carolina in 2011 and currently teaches Technology, Engineering, and Design at Fuquay-Varina High School in the Wake County Public School System.
Wheeler led the effort and was instrumental in the establishment of the Varsity (2013) and Junior varsity (2016) lacrosse programs at Fuquay-Varina High School in Fuquay-Varina, N.C. He became Head Coach in 2020 and has led the Bengals to (3) consecutive Conference Championships (2020, 2021, 20222) and voted Conference Coach of the Year in each season. In 2021 he was selected as the (NC) US Lacrosse Coach of the Year after his team finished 13-2 and was eliminated in the 3rd Round of playoffs by eventual State Champion Cardinal Gibbons.
Brad Wheeler is also the Asst.Coach at DII Barton College Men's Lacrosse team since its inception in 2019.
