About Me

I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, traveling and reading. I am a fan of all things NC, from the mountains to the beaches. And NC food is the best, the apples, BBQ, strawberries, sweet potatoes, seafood and more.

I earned my degree in math education at Mars Hill University in Mars Hill, NC. Then I moved to Mississippi where I taught math and earned my Masters of Science degree in Mathematics. I also worked for the Mississippi Department of Education. Then my husband and I moved back to NC. My family grew by 3 children and a dog. I missed working with students, and I am so happy to be at HRMS!
