The South Garner High School Color Guard is made up of students in grades 9-12. These students meet after school two days a week with the instructor to perfect routines used with the Marching Titans. These students use a variety of pieces of equipment including, but not limited to, Flags, Sabres, Rifles, Chain Flags, Swing Flags and many other items. These members are costumed according to the theme of the show selected.
As part of the Color Guard, these students also make up the WinterGuard for South Garner High School. WinterGuard is a competitive group that performs in gymnasiums against other WinterGuards throughout the region and the state. Their show is just them doing their routines to a track. It is intense, beautiful and inspiring as the Guard works to create a show that will wow audiences with their technique while still bringing emotion and pizzaz to the show.
WinterGuard Results in the Their first Full Year!!!!
Cleveland Competition- 6th place
Holly Springs- 3rd place
Green Level High School- 5th place
AIA Championships- 4th place
