A little about Mrs. O'Hanlon:  

I am very honored to be the Media Specialist for Ballentine since 2003. I was a classroom teacher at Northwoods Elem. in Cary, NC from 1997-2002 and then transferred to Ballentine as a 4th grade teacher for the first year.  I am one of the original staff members who opened this school.  After that year, I became the Media Specialist through lateral entry.  I received my Masters in Library Science from ECU in May of 2007. I have met so many great families through the years with whom I still keep in contact with and enjoy seeing their kids successes.  

I am married to my high school sweetheart Darren who also works for WCPSS and we have one daughter Claire.  She is a student at Wake Technical College with an interest in Forensics. She also like to stop by and do a read aloud or help kids find books.
