Health Science Career Academy
Purpose
Background and History
The Health Science Career Academy is a personalized 4-year commitment small learning environment within Athens Drive Magnet High school. Students are cohorted in their English I and II Honors class. Students complete 4 courses in the pathways, plus a 120-hour work-based internship. Students may also participate in required and elective classes outside the Academy. Students many also participate in clubs and sports. Since 1990, the HSCA has been a part of the Athens Drive School curricula.
