Hi there!

My name is Jennifer French. I have three children and two dogs (Boston Terrier and a Springer Spaniel).

I am originally from the Midwest (Indiana) and graduated from the University of Cincinnati. My specialty areas are in art history and mixed media. I have been teaching since 2002.

In my classroom:

I have high but attainable expectations for everyone. It is my goal for each student to recognize their artistic growth throughout the semester. I love to see students expand their creativity!

How do I evaluate my students? I use rubrics and grade on individual growth. Each rubric focuses on craftsmanship, design quality, evolution, originality and meeting requirements.

Each year, I look forward to sharing my love for art with my students and am excited to have you in my class!
