About me...

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2001 with a degree in Occupational Therapy.  I loved North Carolina so much I stayed in the state and moved to the triangle. I have worked with the pediatric population in a variety of settings including: early intervention, home health, outpatient clinics, residential centers for people with multiple disabilities, and schools.  My love for schools and education has primarily kept me working in the schools for majority of my career.

In 2013, I became a mother to the most wonderful little boy. He inspires me and the work I do for my students in ways that he can't even imagine.

My Favorite Things:

Store/Restaurant:  Target, Amazon, and Panera                               

Color:  purple and royal blue

Treat/Candy: dark chocolate, La Croix and trail mix                       

Likes/Hobbies:  crafts (stamping and painting especially),  journaling, yoga, and traveling
