Hi there! My name Lauren Icenhour. I graduated from East Carolina University in May of 2024 with a Bachelors in Special Education Adapted Curriculum. My favorite subjects to teach are science and daily living skills. I am a huge advocate for independence, communication, and inclusion!

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends, watch whatever is new on Netflix, and snuggle up with my 4 year old rescue cat, Chance!

Hello! My name is Alex and I am from the PNW (Pacific Northwest) of Seattle, WA and moved to Raleigh, NC in the summer of 2019 with a church planting team to plant near NCSU. I graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) with a B.S. in Psychology in 2018. This is my 6th year in the Special Education field and 5th year at ARES!
