I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2017 with a BA in Elementary Education. Before graduating, I had the wonderful opportunity to student teach in Guadalajara, Mexico at the Instituto Thomas Jefferson.

After graduation, I taught in Kentucky, Tennessee, Wyoming, and now North Carolina! I have taught grades 4-6. I am excited to be back in 5th grade! 

When I am not teaching, I spend most of my time with my daughter and family. As soon as the school day ends, you can find us gardening, visiting parks, and exploring different food places together.

In addition to family time, I also enjoy video games and keep up with the latest releases and gaming lingo. This passion allows me to connect with students who share similar interests!
