Hello future Chargers!! My name is Kimberly Hunter and I am honored to join the Charger family for its year two kickoff. It was a phenomenal year one and anxious for year two!
I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelors and Masters in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Math and Language Arts. Go Pirates! At East Carolina University I was apart of the Maynard Scholar and Teaching Fellows Program. I also participated in East Carolina Club Volleyball.

After graduating I was offered my first teaching position at Apex Middle School where I resided for three years where I was also an Assistant softball coach for a year. I then traveled to Houston, Texas over the summer with later transitioning back home to North Carolina. I then began teaching at Zebulon GT Magnet Middle School for another year as an Math Intervention Specialist.

My love for teaching has never been stagnant but flourishing daily with my interactions with students, parents, and the community. I absolutely look forward to starting off this next school year with you all!
