I LOVE being an AFES Star! I grew up in western Maryland and then attended UNC. This is my 12th year teaching third grade! I love doing all things outdoors- running, camping, biking, canoeing - and getting to introduce my 2 kids to the great outdoors, too. The thing I love most about teaching is watching students find a deeper understanding of how much they are truly capable of and seeing them grow into their best selves!
