Outside Referrals

It is Wake County Public School Policy that we cannot make referrals for parents to outside services. If you need to find a mental health provider for your student, please visit psychologytoday.com and search by location, insurance coverage, and type of client. For more information about using psychologytoday, please speak with the counselors.

If your student is served by Medicaid, we can help connect you to services through Alliance Mental Health. You can also contact the member service hotline on the back of your Medicaid card. Please contact the counselors or social worker for more information.

For emergencies, please call 911 or UNC Crisis and Assessment or your local emergency room.
