Welcome!  I'm excited to meet each of you and start this new journey together.  This will be my eighteenth year in education.  I have lived in the high school world for my entire career and am looking forward to the transition to middle school - feel free to ask me anything about what to expect as a freshman next year.  I taught College Preparatory English 11 for seven years in western Pennsylvania, then English II at Panther Creek for seven years  before serving as the Intervention and Testing Coordinator.  I, naturally, love literature.  I also enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, and traveling with my six-year old daughter and husband.  I believe healthy relationships are the foundation of a happy life, so I am excited for our class to build a community together.  Let's make this year a great one!
