Meet the Team

Welcome to the 8-2 team! I'm Beth Nash. This is my 20th year of teaching middle school. I've taught all three grade levels and all four subjects. I have a Bachelor's degree in math, a Master's degree in middle school mathematics, and am a National Board Certified Teacher for middle school math. I am certified to teach middle and high school math and middle school science.

I grew up in Asheville, where I married my college sweetheart, Andrew, who is a geotechnical engineer. We have two awesome kids - Isabelle is 12 and Charlie is 9 - and two naughty puppies, Jack and Sam.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, read, and shop.

Hello! I am Angelina Jennings. This is my 20th year of teaching middle school. I earned a Middle Grades Education degree from NC State University and I am certified to teach middle school language arts and social studies. I also have a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I've taught language arts and social studies in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

I was born in NC, but my father was in the military, so I attended a new school every two to three years (in a different state or country) while I was growing up. To this day, I love to travel and explore new places with my family. I also love, love, love to read!

My husband’s name is Chris and we’ve been married for 24 years. I also have two beautiful daughters. Kinsey is 15 years old and Delaney is 13.
