IXL Math 

7th grade utilizes IXL weekly as a review / homework tool. 

Students will be assigned 1, 2, or 3 specific assignments each week. These assignments will be active Monday and are expected to be completed no later than Sunday at 7:00pm of that same week. 

IXL assignments will not be accepted late. Students know they are assigned each week and due each Sunday.  

To access IXL:

• Students need to go to their WCPSS portal and click the IXL link there. They will not be able to log in directly on IXL.

• The homepage will show the students Dashboard and any assignments. You can toggle between incomplete and completed tasks.

For additional independent practice:

• Students are free to access any skills at any grade level in IXL. Simply click on "Learning" in the header bar (shown in image below) or hover over "Learning" and then click on "Skills"

• All topics for all grades, Pre-K though Integrated 3 mathematics, are available. See second image below showing just a small sample of the 7th grade topics available.

• Students are not encouraged to work through the 7th grade concepts that have not yet been taught. If they would like to challenge themselves, they may attempt 8th grade, or higher, topics based on the skills they want to practice.
