7th Grade Enrichment Activities - 2019/2020

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This year, the 7th grade teams will participate in two enrichment experiences - both off-campus field trips. Below is a brief description of each experience, including information regarding cost requirements.

The total cost of all enrichment activities will be $36.00 and we ask that you use the Online Payment System (OPS). To pay online, go to https://www.wcpss.net/westlakems, click the parent tab on top menu bar, and select online payments. Online payments will be accepted 11/6/19. Scholarships will be provided for students with a financial need.

In addition to payment, students must return the completed parent consent form (1713-a) by 9/30/19 in order to participate in the enrichment experiences.

Chaperones will be contacted by a team member once all forms are collected and recorded.

United Skates Details

1. Students will need to bring their backpacks to school. We will still have 1st, 7th and 8th periods.

2. Students are allowed to bring their own skates. Only purses, lunch bags, and drawstrings bags are allowed on the trip. Students will keep their backpacks in secured classrooms at WLMS while we are away.

3. Students will have pizza and a drink provided on site (already paid for through the field trip cost), but students may bring their own lunch if they choose to do so.

4. Students may bring money for games and/or concession food and drinks.

5. We will be leaving WLMS around 9:30 a.m. and returning by 1:30 p.m.

6. Students that choose not to go on the field trip will be supervised on Track 1.
