The old adage is true; it really does take a village! To achieve this, parent teacher contact is paramount. Please text, email, or call if your student needs anything. Open lines of communication are key to our kids doing well! We love when parents reach out and want additional information about their kids.
Power School is our best friend!
If there is a 0 with no comment, it means that your student scored 0%. If there is a 0 with "missing" comment, it means your student did not hand in or complete the assignment. If there is a blank in place of a grade it means that the teacher has not yet entered that grade. Teachers update grades once a week, but if you have any questions about grades, please do not hesitate to text, email, or call.
Please contact the main office to get a parent login for PowerSchool. (The same login from 6th grade will work!)
The best and fastest way to reach us is through our TalkingPoints. Each teacher can be reached through the app or via text. This goes to our emails and we can respond to you directly and quickly.
If you prefer email, we will be happy to respond as soon as we can, but please keep in mind that our laptops are usually off at night and we are happily teaching our kids during the day. It may be up to 24 hours until we are able to respond formally.

We are always here to help! Your seventh grade teachers are here for help at lunch (when a student asks their teacher in the morning and receives a pass) and through Wednesday Academy.
All of your teachers make themselves available every Wednesday from 3-4:00 to work one on one with students. To attend Wednesday Academy, all you need to do is have a guardian fill out a permission slip and submit it no later than Tuesday afternoon.

One 7-3 teacher will be available every Wednesday from 3:00-4:00 to work with students. To attend Wednesday Academy, all you need to do is have a guardian fill out a permission slip and submit it no later than Tuesday afternoon.
Excused Absences: Students will receive a due date extension equal to the number of days they were absent. They can turn in an assignment or complete a major by their new due date without penalty. Example: if a student was absent on a Thursday and Friday, they will have two extra school days added to an assignment due date and can turn in the assignment for full credit.
Other: Students can turn in any missing or late work until the day before a mid-unit assessment or the last day of the unit, whichever comes first. Work turned in late will be subject to a 10% penalty.
Please contact your student's teacher with any questions or concerns.
In order to retake a major, students must not have any missing work within the unit.
Students may also be asked to complete test corrections in order to be eligible to retake.
All retakes take place after school at Wednesday Academy.
