Mrs. Tonja Dewar is the Science teacher on the Stingrays Team. She LOVES teaching Science and helping students enjoy learning and make connections to the world around them. She is new to the 6th grade this year but has 28 years of experience in middle school science. She is a graduate of Radford University in VA. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends- especially her grandchildren, baking, and volunteering in the preschool at Hope Community Church!
Mrs. Rehm is the Math teacher on the Stingrays team. She is originally from Michigan, but along with many other Northerners, her family grew very tired of the cold weather and moved South! She graduated from North Carolina State University and married her college sweetheart. When she is not at school, she teaches group fitness classes, watches sports (especially football!), and snuggles her Black Lab, Mandy!
Mrs. Bensley is the Language Arts teacher on the Stingrays Team. She grew up in Cary and is a two-time graduate of NC State-- GO PACK! She now lives in Raleigh with her husband and 1-year-old daughter, Hannah. In her spare time, you can most likely find Mrs. Bensley reading a book, running out on a trail somewhere, or lounging on the couch with her 80-pound "lap dog" named Lady!
Mrs. Ruppert is the Social Studies teacher on the Stingrays team. She is married to her college sweetheart, and they have one son, Logan, who is in the 6th grade. Her family moved to Raleigh two years ago from Long Island, NY, and they are loving life in NC. She is a graduate of Fordham University and SUNY College at Old Westbury. Her interests include spending time with her family, baking, and anything Disney!
