Please DO NOT hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns, as well as transportation changes or absent notes.
Wednesday Folders

- Folders will go home every Wednesday afternoon with completed assignments, graded work, and other important information.
- Please look through your child's folder, remove any papers, and return any signed paperwork as well as the folder the next day.

- Visitors are welcome to eat lunch with your child any day--just make sure to sign in and out with the main office.
Snacks
Snacks
- If you choose to do so, you may send a snack (fruit, vegetables, crackers, etc.) and water to school with your child.
- We ask that students please do not bring juice/soda or candy for a snack.
Birthdays

- We love to celebrate birthdays, don't we? Feel free to send in a store-bought treat (school policy). We celebrate birthdays during lunch. Please check with your teacher about how many students are in the class, as it changes throughout the year.

- There are math handouts that corresponds with the lesson from class.
- Completing this handout however is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL.
- Dojo points will be given for completing the work.​
- Some strategies may look unfamiliar--please don't hesitate to ask for help!
Reading
Reading
- We ask that students read for at least 30 minutes each night (Reading informational text and free choice reading will alternate throughout the year) and then choose a prompt to respond to. Please be sure to return the response prompt each day.
- At times there may be a handout that corresponds with the lesson from class. Completing this handout is NOT optional and needs to be returned the next day.

- Students will be asked to review/practice science vocabulary each night.
