Hello, 5th grade mathematicians!  I am so excited to start the new school year with you. 

I was born in New Hampshire and grew up there as well. After graduating from Concord High School, I got my teaching degree from Keene State College. During this time, I met my husband, Jamie, and we were married in 2006. He was in the Marine Corps at the time and was stationed in Cherry Point, NC. Once I moved to North Carolina, I knew I never wanted to leave! I started teaching in a fourth grade classroom in 2008 and have since taught first, third, and fifth grade as well. From 2017-2019, I lived in Wroclaw, Poland and taught English. I love to teach students of all ages! I have a five year old son named Levi! He is such a sweet and happy boy and loves to play with our two dogs, Finn and Coki. He is starting kindergarten at Cary Elementary this year which is so exciting!

For fun, I like to travel. This summer, my family took a beach vacation to North Topsail, NC. We love this beach, as well as Emerald Isle. We also often travel to New England to see our family. I also enjoy doing puzzles and gardening.
