Hello and welcome to third grade! My name is Celia Furlow. I am from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and I attended UNC Chapel Hill for my undergraduate degree and NC State for my Master’s in Teaching Elementary Education. Last year, I joined Partnership as a student teacher during the fall semester. Later that school year, during January of 2025, I took over as a full time third grade teacher! This will be my first full year of teaching, and I am thrilled to spend it with your child. In my classroom, I prioritize making sure every student feels a sense of belonging, significance, and fun! This year, we will build a community that uplifts each other, keeps each other safe, and encourages growth. In my free time I enjoy running, camping, reading, and spending time with loved ones. I also enjoy keeping up with local college sports – go heels and go pack!

Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Karlee Crossett. I am originally from Mooresville, North Carolina. I graduated in 2017 from the University of South Carolina with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. My favorite part of teaching is building our classroom community and creating a safe, inviting environment for ALL students. I hope that students come to class knowing they are welcome, valued, and an important participant in our learning. After teaching second grade in Columbia, SC for 3 and a half years, my husband and I relocated to Raleigh in 2020. I taught third grade at Partnership during the 2020-2021 school year. I have taught first grade here at PME for the last four years. I am excited to rejoin the third grade team! When I am not teaching, I am often trying new recipes, reading, playing volleyball, and exploring Raleigh with my husband and 4-year old son. We love finding new parks, playgrounds, and spending time outdoors. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
