Each student at Southern Wayne has the opportunity to check out a school-issued Chromebook. If you choose to check out a school-issued Chromebook, it is your responsibility to do the following:

• Keep up with your Chromebook & charger- You are fully responsible for the Chromebook and charger that is issued to you. If either or both are lost or not returned, you will be charged $210 for the Chromebook and/or $25 for the charger.

• Charge your Chromebook- You should take your Chromebook home and charge it nightly. If you forget to charge it at home, you need to bring your charger to school with you.

• Report any problems or damage immediately- If you are having problems with your Chromebook or something is broken, report it immediately to a teacher or to Mrs. Ducasse in the media center.

• Keep Your Chromebook Updated- If a message pops up on the screen that says “Update Available- Restart to Update,” click the message and allow your computer to restart and update.
