Michael Stokes
Michael Stokes is in his eighth year as a wrestling coach at Warren County High School and this is his second as head coach. He is originally from Strasburg, Va and graduated from Strasburg High School in 2012. Stokes has been involved in wrestling for 16 years now, competing at the high school and college level, as well as being a volunteer coach at Strasburg High School for one year. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with a Minor in coaching at Alderson Broaddus University.
Bobby Hunger
Bobby Hunger is in his second year with the Wildcats. He was a four-year wrestler at Warren County High School and a member of the 2018 State Runner Up team. While at WCHS Bobby had a great career including becoming a 3X District Champ, Region Champion, and a 2X State Place winner. After graduation he went to James Madison University where he received his BS. Coach Hunger works at Warren County High School and will assist the Varsity and JV.
Michael Melish
Mike Mellish has been a teacher and coach for the past 20 years in Warren and Shenandoah County and this is his second year with the program. He holds a BA in English, a MS in psychology, and currently teaches physical education at the middle school level in Warren County. Throughout his career he has coached track and field, cross country, wrestling, and lacrosse at the varsity level, as well as many of these same sports at the middle school level. He also serves the community by coaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, in which he holds a black belt. He lives in Front Royal with his wife Jill and their 3 children: Tegan, Dominic, and Aspen.
Coach Chad Billy
Chad Billy is in his twentieth year here at Warren County. He is originally a native of Northampton, PA - one of the famous Koncrete Kids. At Northampton he was a three time state place winner and in 1991 became a Pennsylvania State Champion. Billy then attended Clarion University of PA for two years before transferring to West Virginia University for his final two years. While at WVU he racked up numerous accolades including; becoming a two time WVU open champion, a Navy Classic Champion, a two time EWL runner up, and a two time NCAA Qualifier. After graduation Coach Billy traveled to Jefferson County, WV where he became a Physical Education Teacher and Wrestling Coach. He coached numerous district, region, and state place-winners, including one State Champ while he was there. In 2011 he was inducted into the District 11 Pennsylvania Hall of Fame. Coach Billy is a physical education teacher at Warren County Middle School. He lives in Woodstock with his wife Alicia and their sons Carlos and Lucas.

Wyatt Gill
Wyatt Gill was a four year wrestler at Warren County High School and a member of the 2018 State Runner Up team. While at WCHS Wyatt had a great career including becoming a District Champ, Region Runner Up, and 4th in the State. After graduation he chose to serve our country and became a member of the US Marines. Coach Gill lives in Front Royal and is going to help both the JV and Varsity Teams this season!
Matthew Wadas
Matthew Wadas is in his twenty-fifth year here at Warren County and was head varsity coach from 2006-2024. This will be his second year as the Middle School Head Coach. Wadas grew up in Tunkhannock, PA and has been around wrestling his whole life. His father Frank Wadas (who coached wrestling at Tunkhannock High School for 36 years) is a member of the Pennsylvania Wrestling State Hall of Fame and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame (PA Chapter/Contributor). He moved to Front Royal where he met Charlie Dodge who helped him become the assistant of the Middle School team with Head Coach Steve Burton. While at Warren County Wadas has coached the Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity levels of wrestling. He lives in Luray with his wife, Anna, who is a teacher at Hilda J Barbour Elementary School and their two daughters Madison and Colleen.
Michael Detweiler
Michael Detweiler is in his fourth year with the wrestling program. He has been a huige part of the program from JV Head Coach to assistant Varsity and now assistant Middle School. Michael lives in Front Royal with his wife, Carey, who the Head Competition Cheer coach at Warren County and their son and daughter!
