All students are to work within APEX courses and attend onsite classes. Every student needs to have 5.12 hours each day.

Please bring your proof of Residency in if you have not this year! These need to be updated every year.
Zoom sessions with the teachers will be available for tutoring, questions, whatever is needed for the students and the teachers. The teachers will be available in ZOOM during the same time periods links are posted in your Apex Announcements.
They are also available online for any questions and help.

Viewing Grades
To see how your child is doing in Apex,. Here's how:
Go to your school gmail account.
Login using your WCLA email address and password.
Every Sunday night Apex will send you a Coach's report for you student's progress and hours.
Checkout the Grade to Date vs. Quality of Work.
Grade to Date takes into consideration any late assignments.
If your student shows Red or Yellow, they are behind and may not complete the course successfully. Encourage them to "Step up the pace".
View the last day your student accessed the course.
The Score tells you how well they are doing on the work that they are completing. 60% is passing with a 'D-'.
To view hours click on (Detail Report) at the top of the report next to your student's name.
Click on the course and the calendar for the various weeks hours of login.
You should be checking this weekly and talking to your child's about them.
Feel free to contact the WCLA office or your child's mentor.
Each week check your child's course work progress in Apex. Is their progress at or above the expected progress for their courses? If not, please contact their teachers and/or mentor to explore course success options available.

Whether the Ohio Department of Education has licensed or qualified the teacher for the grades/subjects he(she) teaches.
Whether any teachers' aides or similar paraprofessionals provide instructional services to your child, and if so, their qualifications.

Data Release
According to a federal court under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, families of students whose data will be released must be notified and given the opportunity to object. The court is instructing all local education agencies to post notice about this opportunity to object on their district websites and in a central location, accessible to the public, in each building that is open to the public.
