How do I watch a video in full screen mode?

If the video in your online course is presented in a smaller view size and you would like to enlarge it, start by pressing play.  In the bottom right hand corner you will see a square. Click on it and the video will engage to a full screen view.  You will see the icon changing and if you click it again, it will return to the original side.  Alternatively press Esc to exit full screen view.

Can I use any Gmail-account to log into Google classroom and activities?

You must be the owner of the Gmail account you registered with. If you are not, your name will not reflect in the class but the name of the person whose email address you are using. 

Can I share links and resources obtained from this course?

Please do not share links sent to you with other people who want to do the class. They must register with us first in order to receive a link to their email address- they cannot use yours.  

Why are we working on a website and in Google classroom?

We will be using Google Classroom as a forum/discussion/announcement space, as well as the place where you will submit all your Module Tasks. This website is where you will find all the content- it flows better and you will have easy access to it after the course. 

Will there be an instructor for all the modules?

No there isn't an instructor to guide you through the modules. The course is self-paced. But reach out to your mentors and ask questions or for help.

Will I be able to finish the course?

The course is self-paced and you can decide how much or how little you will do each day. There are 4 modules that you will need to work through as well as the Course Challenge. This means that you will need to work on your tasks on a daily basis. You need to keep to the due dates for the tasks.

What if I cannot meet the requirements "as-is" or the due dates?

Don't worry, life happens and we understand that! Contact your mentors, their details are listed on this page 👆 and they will assist you!

How will I earn my certificate?

To earn your certificate, you will need to submit a module task for each one. You will need to obtain 50% in all your tasks. Certificates will only be issued to those who complete all their tasks, They will be sent to your registered email address.
