Library Expectations and Consequences
1. Enter/Exit the library quietly, while keeping hands off the walls, shelves and other students.
2. Return library books to the cart in the correct manner.
3. Walk to the desk quietly and sit down.
4. Remain in your seat during library time.
5. The first 10 minutes are for instructions, do not interrupt or blurt out.
6. Wait to be dismissed by table for checkout.
Leave shelves the way you found them, use a shelf marker.
Return any unwanted books to the cart, don’t shelf books or leave them lying.
7. During reading time, do not interrupt unless it is an emergency. Do not raise your hand during this time.
8. Participate with a positive attitude.
9. Know you are loved, you are smart and you are kind!
Failure to follow these expectations will result in a progression through the following:
1st offense - a warning +
2nd offense - write the above expectations +
3rd offense - and assigned seat +
4th offense - points removed +
5th offense - office referral
