Applications are NOW OPEN for the Fall 2026 UC Berkeley Society of Women Engineers High School Engineering Program (HSEP)! 

What is HSEP?

The High School Engineering Program (HSEP) is a free 10-week, in-person program where high school students who identify as female or non-binary:

• Explore different fields of engineering through interactive workshops & guest speakers

• Design, build, and present a real technical project

• Work in small, mentor-led teams

• Build friendships and connections with UC Berkeley engineering students

No experience needed! Students from all backgrounds are welcome!

Program Details

Dates: Weekly on Saturdays, September 12th – November 14th, 2026

Time: 9:00AM – 12:00PM

Location: UC Berkeley Campus* (Exact Location TBD)

*The program will be fully in person. However, they will be curating and uploading all of our materials into an online repository for everyone to access and follow along, regardless of location. If you are interested or would like more information, please email!
