Hello Harding Community,

Here is your year end wrap up:

• Noon dismissal on Wednesday, June 8, the last day of school for this year.

• Check lost and found just inside the front door entry for any of your child’s belongings. The front door is open 8am-4pm daily through June 8.

• Thank your child’s teacher(s)! They have been champs this year.

• If you are not returning next year, tell the office and check your child’s tablet back in.

Summer Suggestions:

• Keep the learning going through everyday family routines - include your child in meal planning and cooking, give them daily and weekly chores, set aside daily reading and independent creative play time.

• Sign them up for or organize team or group activities.

• Let them read whatever they want.

• Minimize or have defined limits to screen time. Teach and practice balance in daily activity choices.

Plan for the Next School Year:

• The first day of school is August 16. Preview the school calendar and plan vacations and family time for school holidays and breaks. We need all students in school everyday to continue the pandemic recovery of our childrens’ social and academic skills.

Heartfelt thanks for everyone’s support of the staff and the children this school year. It was another year of a lot of unknowns but the cooperative and collaborative approach helped us all make it through. Have a relaxing and refreshing summer break.
