2026 Summer Reading:

• Choose TWO books from the list below. 

• Read each book. 

• Write a one-page paper answering this question for each book (write half a page for each book for a total of one page of writing): What connection(s) can you make between this book and regular life (either your life specifically, or society in general)? 

• Using a piece of 8.5x11" paper (computer or construction paper works well for this), sketch something that shows the overall theme/message of each book (sketch should take up half of the page for each book)

***Make sure to bring papers and sketches to school in August to turn in to your Writing teacher!***
