Wellbeing during COVID19

Here to help

The WCCS school wellbeing team have created and collected these resources to assist you and your families family during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to update this page with ideas and infomation that we believe will help.

Please consider that this is a time where there is many sources of infomation and many approaches to COVID support. Therefore please think about suitablity and effectiveness before implementing any support statergies, as no single resource may be the correct fit.

We hope that these will be a good starting point to staying safe and healthy during this time.

5 WAYS TO STUDENT WELLBEING

Click the images below for some helpful tips!

Connect

Connect with family and friends both around you online and offline. Invest in these important relationships now and for the future.

Take notice

Be present online and offline. Notice what is happening around you and how you are feeling. Reflect, pray or practise mindfulness to help appreciate what matters to you most.

Be Active

Step outside, play a game, or a fitness workout. Discover a new activity to suit your fitness level. Variety is the key.

Keep Learning

Try something new, do a puzzle , read a book, create, learn a song. Set a goal and work towards it. Learning develops confidence.

Give

Do something nice for a family member or friend, or talk to your neighbour. Thank someone. Being kind helps us feel better and creates connections- real and virtual.
