Changing an Expired Password

In the event that you have forgotten your password or your student password has expired, you can create a new password from home or from a device you have brought for BYOD using the Outlook Web Application.

This is the application you use to access your Student Email from a web browser.

It can be accessed from the Family Portal page via the "Email" icon or by clicking here.

Log in using your student password (the same password that has expired) or if you've requested a reset, use the password emailed to you. You will then be prompted to create a new password.

Ensure the new password:

  • Is not the same as your old password or any previous passwords you have used for your Student account.

  • Does not contain any part of your name (first name, last name or middle names)

  • Does contain 3 of the following 4 categories:

    • At least 1 uppercase letter (a, b, c, d, ...)

    • At least 1 lowercase letter (A, B, C, D, ...)

    • At least 1 number (1, 2, 3, 4, ...)

    • At least 1 symbol (!, @, $, %, ...)

Enter the new password once and then again to confirm it. Then hit "submit" and you should see a message that indicates your password has been changed.

Forgotten your password

In the event that you have forgotten your password, you will have to ask a teacher to reset your password for you.

Once your teacher has reset your password, click here, to access the student email, then log in with your username and the password provided by your teacher.

As soon as you log in you will have to change your password.

Changing a password that has not expired yet

If you would like to change your password at any time, you can do so through your student email which can be accessed via link on the student portal page.

  1. Select the gear in the top right portion of the screen.

  2. Select "Options" at the bottom of the drop down list.

  3. Click on "General" in the list on the left and then "My account".

  4. Click on "Change your password".

  5. Follow the remaining prompts to change your password ensuring your new password meets the requirements listed above.
