The default email application at WCCS is Microsoft Outlook. This application can be found in the start menu on any school device and can be downloaded on your own personal device, you can download Microsoft Office, as part of the Office Application Suite as a member of staff. For users with a staff laptop, you can continue to use Outlook remotely and it will functional the same as at school.
Alternatively, you can access emails anywhere at via Outlook Web Access at https://outlook.office.com
Sending emails, organising your calendar and contacts is as simple as selecting required actions from the home screen menu panel and following the prompts. If you require an email address of a student or staff member, you can locate them through the address book, listed as a menu item when in the window of a new email.
Please also note that the official William Carey email signature will be added automatically when sending external emails. Please do not modify this signature without logging an IT ticket. However, if you choose to add your own, please note that the default signature will still be attached automatically.
One of the benefits of WCCS subscribing to Microsoft Office is that staff and students are able to get Office on personal devices under our license. To take advantage of this offer go to the sign in page, and login with your WCCS email address (ending in @wccs.nsw.edu.au) and school password.
After signing in on the Office 365 site, you’ll see a link to "Install Office apps". This link gives you access to the newest Office 365 ProPlus software suite (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access and Publisher) free to download and install on up to five PCs or Macs, 5 tablets and other mobile devices – including iPad, iPhone and Android devices.
