Welcome! This is a website showcasing the final projects of 9th Grade Science students at Washtenaw Technical Middle College.
The final project for 9th Grade Science is the "Eco-Project." From September 2020 to April 2021, students went outside once a week for nearly every week of school. During that time, they practiced field scientist and ecologist skills, tried their hand at nature sketching, journaled, and reflected on their place in the natural world at their field site — a place they chose in their community.

To collect and summarize their work, along with connecting their learning to the content of the class, students created websites using Google Sites and presented out their work using Flipgrid. We are proud to present seven students' Eco-Project websites and videos. We hope you enjoy!
