WCPS scholarship information is housed in NAVIANCE! Many opportunities are available.

To access scholarships in the NAVIANCE database, select the Colleges tab. Next choose Scholarships and Money. Finally, click on Scholarship List.
Don't forget to click the "Add and Request Transcript" button in NAVIANCE once you have added the college and submitted the application.
All applications have deadlines. Please be mindful when requesting needed information from your school counselors. The Parkside High School Deadline, is typically set prior to the actual application deadline to allow for processing, and if applicable, is indicated in green on the Scholarship Quick Reference chart.

Several scholarships offered to WCPS students, are offered through the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, (CFES). These scholarships are typically released early-mid February of the academic school year.
You do not need to PAY money to get money! If you access a website that requests you pay a fee, please do not provide any information. Exit the website and consult with your parent(s)/guardian(s). Be cautious. Scams do exist!

"MDCAPS is MHEC's, (Maryland Higher Education Commion's), comprehensive financial aid system that allows (the processing of) State scholarship applications (and the allocation of) funds more efficiently using today's technology. To use MDCAPS, you must first create a student login profile. The profile creation process will request an email address. An activation link will be sent to the email address provided."
