This includes being a TA - must be actively working with students to earn hours.
Before beginning an independent SSL project - stop by and talk to your school counselor to be sure it is eligible for SSL hours.
Having additional service hours are a wonderful way to build up a resume when planning on college, workforce and scholarships. The following levels are recognized as:
200+ Hours of service - Laudable Service Award Certificate
300+ Hours of Service - Exemplary Service Award Certificate
500+ Hours of Service - Meritorious Service Award Certificate and Graduation Cord
