Chester County Art Walk
Saturday, Sept 19th from 10a-4p
125+ Artists, 3 bands, moon bounces and food in the park, wow!
Volunteer hours would be 7a-10a and would help with event set up.
EG Parks and REC on the Go at Marydell Pond
Thursday, Sept 24 from 5:30p-7:30p
A “carnival” like event at Marydell Pond. Activities include fishing, foam cannon, backyard sports, carnival games etc.
Volunteer hours could be 3:30p-7:30p, helping with set up and then with activity stations.
Pumpkin Festival
Saturday, Oct 10th, 10a-12p
Our classic fall festival…wagon rides, pumpkin bowling, crafts and more!
Volunteer hours would be 9:30a-12:30p and could include helping with crafts, glitter tattoos, wagon rides etc.
Salute to Service
Saturday, November 12th, 9a - 12:30p
We salute military veterans with our own community service project, raking leaves for senior citizens here in West Chester.

Greystone Color Run Volunteers
Greystone Color Run Volunteers
The upcoming Greystone Color Run is looking for high school volunteers to help on the day of the event. Help is needed on October 2nd from 4:15pm-7:15pm at the Greystone Campus (1195 Aram Avenue West Chester). Volunteers will receive 3 community service hours, and a free ice cream from Handel’s. This event is a one mile family fun run. Volunteers will be tasked with helping to set up, assist during the event, and clean up. All level of volunteers are welcome. First come, first serve.

Westtown Township Parks & Rec Opportunity
Westtown Township Parks & Rec Opportunity
Westtown Day is on Sunday, Oct. 4th from 11-3pm. There are slots for two-hour shifts assisting with crafts, helping with games, and helping direct cars.
We are happy to sign any paperwork students might need for volunteer hours if they bring it along.

The Friends of the Chester County Library are holding their Fall Book Sale October 9-11, 2026 and are looking for student volunteers to assist with book check and directional support. These hours can be used for Community Service requirements, National Honor Society requirements or just helping out in the community.
Below are the dates and times needed. There is also an optional (but highly recommended) orientation meeting (NEW) prior to the sale weekend to familiarize the volunteers with the book sale area and job desciption duties. There is also more opportunity on this day to help move the children's books into the Struble Room. They will be in boxes and there will be carts available to transport.
These additional hours outside of the actual sale hours will also be included in community service hours and we will provide forms of service if one is not available from your school.
Tuesday October 6th
2:00 - 4:00 pm.. Transfer of boxed children's books to the Struble Room (2nd floor)
4:00 -5:00 p.m. Orientation Meeting
5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Transfer of boxed children's books (if not completed by 4:00 p.m.)
Friday October 9th
5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Volunteer Shift
Saturday October 10th
9:00 - 1:00 p.m. Volunteer Shift
Saturday October 10th
12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Volunteer Shift
Sunday October 11th
12:00 - 4:00 (or until 6:00 if helping breaking down sale) Volunteer Shift

Volunteers stock shelves, bag produce, unload deliveries, pick up food purchases or help the shoppers. They also have volunteers with management roles such as treasury, bookkeeping, fundraising, outreach, purchasing, logistics, volunteer coordination, regulatory compliance, insurance etc.
Cradles to Crayons is a non-profit organization that provides free clothing, shoes, diapers, school supplies, and other everyday essentials to children from birth through age 12 who are living in homeless, low-income, or crisis situations
