The Accelerated Honors Wind Ensemble is an auditioned curricular ensemble at Rustin High School. Auditions are held each February for the following school year's ensemble. The band performs a wide variety of traditional and modern advanced high school to professional level wind band music. The Band has performed twice at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, PA and has been awarded the Overall Best Concert Band in numerous regional, national, and international festivals.

Alumni of the Wind Ensemble have gone on to major in music at some of the top music schools and conservatories in the United States.

The Honors Concert Band is open to all students at Rustin High School by director recommendation. The band performs a wide variety of traditional and modern high school level wind band music. The Band has performed at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, PA and has received numerous first place concert band awards in regional festivals.

The RGKMB is open to all students in grade 9-12 at West Chester Rustin High School. The Band is a 9 time USBands Pennsylvania State Champion Band. Our band plays at all Rustin Varsity Football Games.

Spring training rehearsals are held Tuesday nights in May. Summer Band Camp is held for 11 days each August. Fall Rehearsals start with the beginning of school and are each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.

The Marching Band has performed at Met Life Stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium, Navy/Marine Corps Stadium, M&T Bank Stadium, Walt Disney World, Citizens Bank Park, Orlando FL, Pearl Harbor HI, Honolulu, HI

The Accelerated Honors Jazz Band is an auditioned curricular ensemble at Rustin High School. Auditions are held each February for the following school year's ensemble. The band performs a wide variety of traditional and modern advanced high school to professional level Jazz Big Band Music. The Band has been awarded the Overall Best Jazz Band in numerous regional, national, and international festivals and has won numerous overall best section awards.

Alumni of the band have gone on to careers as professional jazz musicians and have performed all over the world.

The Honors Jazz Band is open to all students at Rustin High School by director recommendation. The band performs a wide variety of traditional and modern high school level Jazz Big Band Music. Members of the band focus on the various styles of music being performed as well as on developing their improvisation skills.

The World Percussion Ensemble is comprised of the members of the percussion section of the Accelerated Honors Wind Ensemble and additional percussionists at Rustin High School. The Ensemble performs music from a diverse repertoire of percussion ensemble literature from around the World. The Ensemble was honored to be selected to perform at the NAfME National Convention in 2022.

The Rustin Indoor Color Guard is the winter season program of the Fall marching band color guard. The ensemble is open to all students at Rustin High School. Practices run from December up to Championships in April. The Guard competes as part of the MAIN competition circuit.
