Coach Muzi is a dedicated basketball coach and community leader with a deep commitment to youth sports development. As the president of West Chester Hoops, a non-profit community basketball league, Jarrett has been instrumental in fostering the sport’s growth and accessibility in the West Chester area. Under his leadership, the league has expanded to serve over 850 kids in both the winter season and more than 850 in the summer league. His focus on inclusivity and accessibility is exemplified by the recent addition of the "Inspire" division, a program specifically designed for students with complex needs.
Jarrett’s coaching journey began at the age of 21 with the Penn Valley Junior Sports Association, in Lower Merion, where he coached his first rec and travel team, igniting his lifelong commitment to youth basketball. He went on to join the coaching staff at Harriton High School as an assistant coach, refining his skills in player development and team management. From there, he took on roles at Wissahickon High School as both JV girls' basketball coach and assistant varsity coach, broadening his experience across different age groups and competitive levels. Jarrett then dedicated nearly a decade to Henderson High School as the 9th-grade basketball coach, where he guided young athletes through a pivotal stage in their athletic and personal development. Now in his second year at Peirce Middle School as the 8th-grade coach, he continues to inspire young players with his passion, skill, and commitment to sportsmanship.
