We started our night with a game of kickball to release some energy. Then we came in discussed some of the rules. After we finished we played a "Help Mario Escape" Breakout. A breakout for anyone that doesn't know if a game of clues that go to a box with locks on it. The locks could be a series of numbers or letters. It is a classroom version of an Escape Room. In today's breakout the students had to look around the room and find clues for 2 locks. Included are pictures of some of the clues that they found in the room. They learned what a "red Herring" is. In the breakout word that is a fake clue. They were able to breakout with 14 minutes and 40 seconds left. When the box was unlocked they each received a variety of candy in the box. We continued our night with an "Oreo Challenge". All students were successful in catching their Oreo. That was our snack for the night.

Breakout Clock. They broke out with 14:40 left to spare. Great Job!!
