The district's future plan is to have a STEM class for students to explore. This year due to COVID, the administration decided to postpone the implementation! We are eager to see what our little minds can do and explore.

Students in 3rd and 4th grade are beginning to learn all about STEM. They will explore the design process and Computer Science coding skills. All students in 3rd and 4th grade at WBIS will have the opportunity to participate in the course. The 2020-2021 school year is the first year that STEM is being implemented at this grade level. Mr. Scott Hesley, a veteran teacher, is using code.org, InventorCloud, and his own Math and Science background to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for our young Warriors!
