Discipline
Students must follow the rules in order to learn and not negatively impact the learning environment. Students who choose to not follow established rules will be provided an intervention (discipline) to eliminate future infractions.
You can also use the paper form and send it down to Jill in the front office.
Lunch Detention-This discipline takes place during lunch. Students are NOT permitted to social with other students during Lunch Detention.
AM/PM detention-We have detentions four times each week. We have two in the morning and two in the afternoon in order to provide options for families. The detentions are at the MS two times each week and at the HS the other two times.

- Tuesday-PM (2:45pm-3:25pm)--Middle School
- Wednesday-AM (6:50am-7:30am)--High School
- Thursday-AM (6:50am-7:30am)--Middle School

Student Discipline Code of Conduct
A major component of the educational program (at the school) is to prepare students to become responsible citizens by learning how to conduct themselves properly and in accordance with established standards. Students are expected to behave in accordance with Federal, State and local laws and rules and Board policies and Administrative Guidelines, and in a way that respects the rights and safety of others. Staff will take corrective action to discipline a student and/or to modify the student's behavior when a student's behavior does not fall within these parameters:
1. Possession/use of drugs and/or alcohol
2. Possession/use of tobacco
3. Use and/or possession of a firearm
4. Use and/or possession of a weapon
5. Use of an object as a weapon
6. Knowledge of dangerous weapons or threats of violence
7. Arson
8. Physically assaulting a staff member/student/person associated with the District.
9. Verbally threatening (either orally, in writing or otherwise expressed) a staff member/student/person associated with the District.
10. Misconduct against a school official or employee, or the property of such a person, regardless of where it occurs.
11. Misconduct off school grounds
12. Extortion
13. Gambling
14. Falsification of school work, identification, forgery
15. Bomb Threats, and other false alarms and reports
16. Terroristic Threat
17. Possession and/or use of explosives and/or fireworks
18. Trespassing/Loitering
19. Theft, or knowingly receiving or possessing stolen property
20. Insubordination
21. Damaging property (Vandalism)
22. Absence/tardiness and Truancy
23. Unauthorized use of school or private property
24. Refusing to accept discipline
25. Aiding or abetting violation of school rules
26. Displays of affection/sexual activities
27. Possession of electronic equipment
28. Violation of individual school/classroom rules
29. Violation of bus rules
30. Interference, disruption or obstruction of the educational process
31. Harassment and/or Aggressive Behavior (including Bullying/Cyberbullying)
