Mission of Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is dedicated to inspiring and empowering students through teamwork, curiosity, and hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. By challenging students to solve problems, conduct experiments, and apply scientific knowledge, Science Olympiad builds critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills while fostering a lifelong appreciation for STEM. Most importantly, it gives students the opportunity to learn, compete, support one another, and discover just how exciting science can be.

Suffolk West Science Olympiad provides high school students with an opportunity to challenge themselves in STEM through teamwork, competition, hands-on learning, and problem-solving. We bring schools together to compete in a diverse range of scientific and engineering events while creating an environment where students can develop their skills, discover new interests, and celebrate their achievements.
