Familiarize staff with WIDA Standards
Review Wharton ML data
Plan differentiation strategies for opening units for Wharton MLs with Student Language Portraits in general education or content areas
Topics:
Using Student Language Portraits to effectively differentiate in the general education/content area classroom
Enhancing language proficiency by leveraging the WIDA standards
Content area-specific planning at the upper grades utilizing related chapters from SIOP texts
Development of Student Language Portraits
