All About Mrs. Fields
Mrs. Fields grew up in Vernon, New Jersey. She is a graduate of William Paterson College of New Jersey, where she majored in Early Childhood Education and Sociology with a minor in Anthropology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Pre-K through Grade Eight Elementary Education certification.
Mrs. Fields has been teaching in Wharton since 1999. She has taught Gifted and Talented Education, Sixth Grade Mathematics, Second Grade, Fourth Grade, Third Grade and is currently teaching Kindergarten.
Mrs. Fields is married to her wonderful husband Charlie and has an amazing son named William. She enjoys hiking, walking, boating, swimming, and yoga. Her hobbies are astronomy and working in her garden. Mrs. Fields adores traveling to the state of Texas-her favorite-and the countries of England and Mexico. She loves empanadas, chocolate, and iced tea. She likes to laugh and be with her family. She likes to read stories and play word games.
Mrs. Fields loves teaching children new things as well as learning new things. Mrs. Fields enjoys teaching in Wharton and is so proud when former students return to visit after they have graduated and tell her all the great things that have been happening in their lives.
