Suggested Summer Reading

***Willingboro High School students and their families now have access to Open ebooks. Download the free app from the App Store or Google Play Store. The app is compatible with iphones, ipads and android phones. See the media specialist once you have installed the app for a barcode and pin number. Once you have your barcode and pin, log into the app by choosing Log in with Firstbook. You now have access to thousands of free ebooks. The initiative is a partnership between three existing nonprofits (NYPL, DPLA and First Book) and is made possible by generous contributions of service from Baker & Taylor and Clever, and content from top children’s book publishers. Elements of the project have been supported by grants from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and commitments from publishers through the ConnectED initiative. There is no new federal budget line or staff associated with the project.

You should be able to read any of these books with your web browser from your Iphone, or android phone or tablets, and also of course, a regular computer with a web browser.

Project Gutenberg - offers over 42,000 free ebooks: choose among free epub books, free kindle books, download them or read them online.

Also provides a free smart-phone app.
